Gate Zero – Project Description
We are producing Gate Zero – an open world adventure game set in the fascinating time of Jesus’ life. The game, based in ancient Israel, will be an immersive and innovative way to discover and learn about the Bible’s history and its revolutionary message.
Role Overview:
As a Fundraiser at Bible X, you will play a pivotal role in securing the financial resources needed to bring Gate Zero to its full potential. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing effective fundraising strategies, connecting with potential donors and building relationships within the faith-based philanthropic and gaming communities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our project, enabling us to fulfill our mission of making the Bible accessible and engaging to a global audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve an annual fundraising target of $500,000 USD.
- Identify and engage potential individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic foundations within the United States.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the philanthropic and gaming industries.
- Retain and grow a portfolio of individual donors to support the organization’s mission and goals annually.
- Plan and execute campaigns, annual appeals and initiatives to raise awareness and generate support for the project.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and progress toward fundraising goals.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully raising funds for non-profit organizations, cultural projects, or similar initiatives, ideally faith-based ministries.
- Knowledge of the latest crowdfunding initiatives within the Christian media industry.
- Strong network within philanthropic Christian communities in the United States.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage potential donors and build lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the gaming industry and a passion for innovative educational tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of grant writing is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively to meet fundraising targets and deadlines.
